Aero Doesn't Work...

Well I don't know what I did but for the past week I haven't seen Aero; the only way to get it is to net start uxsms every time I boot (yeah I can put it in the startup folder but I want to know why it doesn't show up). In the Windows Color and Appearance area the last thing it shows is Vista Basic.

check your toolbars. Some, like itunes, disable aero.

OH YEAH that too i forgot that. does it still do it with EVERYTHING closed

iTunes doesn't disable Aero, it disables the taskbar transparency; I had that problem before. Other taskbar toolbars can also do that.

That link doesn't help, someone on thevistaforums.com posted that, it doesn't help at all. Maybe its the newer 8.5 CCC drivers...
