I Want to put a motor on my pushbike, but the law is anything over 200 watts must be registered and to ride it you must have a license. So,How do i convert CC's to Watts (Or How much watts is a 49cc motor)?

LOL , im going to do the same thing , this term in mechanics I have been working on a 25 year old whipper snipper engine.

We just got it going running well at the end of last lesson , when i take it home im going to try figure out how the hell i will put it on a bike lol

You can't calculate the power of the engine (watts) just from knowing the displacement (c.c.) - you need to know the engine's horsepower rating, then you can convert that to watts :)

hmm, you better hope the motor doesn't give out much more than 1/4HP because then you'd need to register it anyway:

1 horsepower = 745.699872 watts

And I've seen model airplane engines that have an output of 1.2HP - and they have 6.4 c.c. displacement

Well , who cares if it illegal ? are you going to be riding it on the footpath ??
