If the program a previous poster posted (name is escaping me sorry) doesn't work get the trial of NOD32 and get Mcaffee out of your computer.

cut all other pcs from network and only put line to your ,run in safe mode, and reboot the os.

Like Celegorm sad Mcaffee is second worse virus out there right after Norton. NOD32 is the best AV, u can get a free trial. Use that for ur scan. If u decide to get NOD32 installed, make sure u fully delete Mcaffee & restart PC b4 installing NOD32. Also if u have Vista 64 bit, make sure u sellect the propper version.

1st Did u do a system restore? It helped me numerous times.
2nd If system restore didnt help then disable ur system restore (not sure how to do it in vista) but in xp its in ur "Systems" sometimes it helps when u do a search for viruses, but be aware if u disable it, all ur saved dates will be lost ( i think...)
3rd Download "spybot" do a full update.
4th restart ur PC and go into safe mod
5th Do a full spybot search, remove what ever bugz u find.
6th Do a full Virus scan (make sure u have it set up right to delite the viruses)
7th restart PC

Yup . No virus take a strong hold on your system than norton does. Mcaffee is right up there too. Can't believe people pay to infect their system...
