ASP vs SaaS???

Can anyone explain the difference between ASP (application service) and SaaS (service as a software) providers? How can SaaS be applied to the sphere of hosting?

Thanks, Coppa, I've managed to find answer to my question as well, that's true SaaS refers to software providers who not only supply their clients with software but offer all the accompanying services.
