How fast it can move data. For example booting the pc up. The faster the data moves the faster the pc boots up. To boot you pc you don't have to be connected to the internet...

Sad thing is now I have to buy the drive at the store newegg doesn't accept my paypal because I don't have a credit card or something.

You could always transfer the needed money to PayPal from your checking/savings account and then you could do an instant transfer payment to Newegg.
