Sorry im completely new so sorry if I posted this in the spot. I'v narrowed it down to two choices for laptops, COMPAQ PRESARIO F765CA or ACER ASPIRE AS7520-5839 both are pretty much the same but the accer has a 17 inch screen. I was just wonder which is a better brand name. Thanks for any help!

17" is a bit big in a notebook especialy if your going to be carrying it around a lot , so even though your gonna get a bit more for your money if your going to be carrying it about everywhere then its gonna be a pain to carry a 17" laptop everywhere so go with the smaller one
