So does firefox not have like temporary internet files? evertime I download like pictures from a website it saves them to my desktop. Do I have to make like a random file or what?

Also do you have to save all files. For instance an .exe installer, With IE I would just open it, with firefox I don't have that option...

While Firefox is open, click on Tools > Options. Under the Main tab, you can set where you want the files to be downloaded to.

From what I have experienced using Firefox, all files must be saved, then opened/ran when finished.

Firefox is very good, I don't have a problem with having to save and then open/run files you download. The negatives are by far outweighed by the positives I believe.

Go back to the options and make it ask you where you want stuff downloaded to.

And if you want your temporary internet files, type about:cache into the address bar.

What is IE again , :D , jks ,

havnt used IE for like 3 years , firefox is way better in everyway

^^lol^^

FireFox Rules.

You can have FireFox clear your downloads when you exit FireFox.

Set up a temp. folder as above.

Alt+T then Alt+O and everything you need is in the Privacy Data section.
