No, the GX2 is faster overall.

I'd say either the EVGA GeForce 9800 GX2 KO or the XFX GeForce 9800 GX2 1GB. The XFX card is probably the fastest of the bunch with it's overclocked timings of 700MHz core and 2100MHz memory. But it's also $30 more.

It's faster in 3DMark06 and Call Of Juarez and, err, that's about it, but that's to be expected seeing as it's $200 cheaper.


But if you're going to buy a GPU, and you've got a hell of a load of money to spend, what about the GTX 260/280 on June 17th?

Well see it depends. I am very very impatient, (also an upcoming LAN party) and I would love to have a speed demon inside my PC. So if i don't have the card bought, and the other one sold on ebay by then, i will get the GTX 280.
