How to make Audio Louder

Ok, along time ago I was thinking, I want the bass better and the beats louder, but all got confused by all these crappy plugins, so I thought how can I make my sound better and louder?/ well, download Sony Vegas and then once you done that, either ill give you tips on how to do it and you can pm me.

its easy, just go on sony vegas, open a track:

click TRACKFX and it brings this out, now play with it

Windows media player with the WOWSRS Effects does this aswell So does messing with the equalizer.

FX. would be effects.

EQ would be equalisation.

you are applying filters to alter the bass response, so I'd say that this was EQ more than FX.

but I guess you could call in FX.

you'll probably find that the sony one seems to work better because you have a greater control over the specific frequencies and roll off of those frequencies.

Haha, the title of the thread totally threw me off. I was gonna tell you to just turn the volume knob if you want louder audio.
