Hi guys im a noob here im just wondering if some one can point me in the right direction in regards to a new video card i have a 5 year old mother board. the model is a7n266-vm its a asus board i would like to up grade manly for gaming purposes thanks.

RV670 is 55nm and hardly sucks up much power. And even if he has a P4 or an Athlon XP, the HD 3850 would still be so much faster than a 2600.

He'll need at least a 450W power supply to run the HD 3850.

Without having to go to a more powerful power supply, his best bet would be the HD 2600PRO that mikee286 suggested or maybe even a EVGA GeForce 7600GT 512MB.
