Good slideshow program

Hi everyone, I'm brand new to this site and I'm just looking for a little information. I'm going to be making a slideshow with simply pictures and music and was curious to as what program I should use. I've used powerpoint quite a lot in the past but am not sure if this is really the best for just pictures and music. If anyone could point me in the direction of a free easy to use, reliable program I'd be much appreciative.

If you have PowerPoint, that's pretty easy to use.

If not, then this is a free alternative to the Microsoft Office suite:

Windows Movie Maker is a pretty easy one too. I know that it is a Microsoft program, but it works great for just pics and music.
