quick vista question

how much gb of ram do i need to run vista, and able to run games on high settings?
i know vista needs at least 2gb to be able to run fine.

Well I would just go with 4GB because RAM is so cheap nowadays especially DDR2; But 2GB should be fine. If they recommend Windows Vista and 2GB then they must have already factored in the amount Vista uses.

EDIT: forgot to add that 4GB will make a noticeable difference on Vista so thats why it would be best to get 4GB.

I ran crysis on high with two gigs. I added a third and there is a noticeable difference.
