with the $10 rebate, the $22 price tag puts it waaaaayyyyy ahead of just about any cooler for price to performance ratio, it dropped my temps about 10° from the Intel stock cooler from 45° to 32° idle, it probably would've been a 15-20° change, but the temps in the room where I have the computer have changed also because of a pretty drastic change in the weather (that's exactly why I bought it, the summer heat is fast approaching)...
for someone who doesn't OC, this is the perfect cooler, though it is kind of big (tall) and just barely clears the 250mm side fan on my aerocool extremengine 3t, I will be OCing a little bit (maybe 10%) now that I feel confident that I can keep the temps in the 40s...
Without even bringing price into this the Xigmatek HDT-S1283 is on par and often surpasses the TRUE especially with core processors. HDT is the future of air cooling, the TRUE has been dethroned.

And with more pressure applied by using a bolt-thru-kit, even better temperatures could be achieved.
But the reviews for this seem to be very varied. The two I linked to show it to be one of the best. Xbit and your link show it to be just behind the TRUE. Oh well, for the price you really can't go wrong.

I agree 100%, it's a good cooler, not so much if you want to brag about how much you paid for your cooler though, the fact that it's a fraction of the price and is even close to the performance of the more expensive ones speaks volumes imo...
