what to get?

the XFX seem good, but the PNY XLR8 has the same specs as it seems like.
i kind of want the XLR8, should i get it?

They are both identical apart from the sticker on the cooler. The XFX is the same price but you can be sure you will get a good warranty and support.

If he's really wanting to game he'll notice a large difference between the 8600GT and the 8800GT (and its worth the extra cost).

Definitely go with the graphics card, your PSP is working (for now)
