Sound Problem??

Hi guys
just got new speakers and i plugged it in and although it works on all my music players it doesn't work on youtube and other internet sites. The problem is that the speakers have not been detected by the computer when i go into control panel. Also my monitor has an inbuilt TV with speakers to it, which also doesn't work after i unplugged the audio core from the case.

i hope this makes sense.

looks like you need to install sound drivers for your computer,

look in the bottom right hand corner in the system tray do you see an icon that looks liek a speaker ?

no ? then find out what mobo / sound card you have an download the drivers for it.

no speaker icon, but i think i have downloaded all the drivers possible for the motherboard. Should there be update drivers for the motherboard???

go to add and remove hardware, see if its detected,update drivers, try other speakers.
