New ATI HD 4870: Unoffical Benchmarks State That It Beats The 9800GX2!

It doesn't much of a difference, a next gen ATI card beats a previous gen nvidia card, just wait until they pair it up with the next gen nvidia card it will more than likely outperform.
 
Pfffft. All Nvidia are doing is shrinking G92 to 55nm. And GT200 isn't going to be available 'till August. If these tests are real, that gives AMD a full 3 months of domination. Just like Nvidia had with the 8800GTS/GTX when they were first launched.
Well. I'm going to put my money on AMD. The stakes are high but I think they'll pull through.

Fingers crossed. I just don't want to get to excited to find out when the first benches are out that it's a big dissapointment.
