w/o psu or os. Any suggestions on psu, and I can't decide on os. I'll mainly be gaming.

you probably want vista since you have 4gb of ram.

If you want a high end PSU then the ENERMAX GALAXY EGX1000EWL is the one.

Looks good, and I'd like to back Remeniz up on the BeQuiet and Enermax PSUs, they are of very good quality. If you don't want to spend loads though but still want something that's solid then the OCZ StealthXStream is a good choice. And go with Vista, your hardware is good enough to run it with ease and it's problems are gone now and it's a good OS>

Thanks alot guys, but when it comes to vista, I'll probably go 64bit. Home premium vs ultimate etc...??? I don't know the differencees.

I'd like to keep the psu under 150 btw if that is reasonable.

Yeah the 650W would be perfect. The 8800GTS actually only needs like 400 or 450W I think.

@ Smartpant, these are good PSUs, but the first is quite old and no longer complies with the new regulations (It's efficiency is the problem). The second and third are great but overkill.
I know Freestyler loves his Silverstone's but this is also a very good PSU:

Yep, 64 bit so all your 4gigs can be addressed. I have 64 bit HP and I think it's great and I wouldn't go back to XP if I had the choice. Ultimate isn't worth it IMO.
