Car Thread!

At least they look different...for American and Japanese cars I swear, all they do is rebadge most of them or add a spoiler...it's so lazy and cheap.

Uhh no... Show me a japanese cars that are rebadged and suppose to be different models? I dont think so, I could never tell it was the same chasis used on my car.

GM in other words yeah (Ion, Cobalt etc.)

Hmmm...lets see.

Ever heard of the Mitsubishi GTO? What about the Dodge Stealth? Or the Mitsubishi 3000GT?

Oh wait! They're the same cars! Exact same chassis and similar design just with different badges. Hell, the 3000GT and the GTO used the same chassis and exterior but were just rebadged for different markets.

I think I might go with an E36 for my next car.

Dooo it. :p No but seriously...it's a nice car. They're pretty affordable too. A 325i in great condition is about $4,000-$6,000 on craigslist.

The M5 doesn't make a high whine...have you ever heard it? It has a pretty deep burble. A pretty nice mid-range engine note.

You should hear the E92 M3. It sounds SO nice. Not too deep, but light enough with an aggressive note.

Check this one out for the m5, its just and exhaust video, but the kid in the background is kinda funny too.

But this is what I mean by deep throaty sound...

Oh yeah, I know what you mean. My friend put dual Flowmasters on his Chevrolet Tahoe. It's a nice deep rumble, but I still can't get enough of the M3 and M5's engine notes...god they're beautiful.

I want to put flowmasters on my truck, but idk. It's only a 4.0, so it wont have as throaty a growl as that big block... And my mom thinks making it loud is bad.

In my opinion, yes. Even as a DD the E36 M3s are very nice. Great power, decent torque, amazing handling and it looks damned nice. They're actually not that bad when it comes to fuel mileage, although that depends on how much lead is in your foot when you accelerate. :p
