It varys from different ISP's. They also may be marketing ADSL2+ or VDSL as true fiber (which it is not)

yh i dont get why they would other fiber optic ac such low speeds when adsl+ can reasonable reach 24MBPS depeding on quality of phone line that is but its reasonably possible.

fiber optics reach speads of gbps so why ssuch slow speeds doesnt make n e send if you ask me.

the ISP probably doesn't want to dish out on super expensive equipment to allow everyone to have 100mbps
