Sli question

My question is can my computer handle sli with 8600 gt?

Specs
Motherboard: ASUS M2N32-SLI
Processor:AMD Athlon 64 x2 5200+ windsor 2.6 Ghz
Video Card: 8600 gt 256mb
Power: Silencer 610 (pc power and cooling)
Memory: 2GB (getting 4 soon)

Yes. An 8600GT SLI setup needs at least a 400W power supply with 24A on the 12V rail. Your Silencer 610 supplies 610W with 49A on the 12V rail. (It's SLI certified too.)

All that certification crap is just marketing BS. Most PSU's these days have the connectors needed for SLI anyway.

Your right cabbspapp, most do have PCIe connectors. But many do not have the needed watts and amperage to supply an SLI setup stably.
