vista troubles

well when i try to get on anything like control panel, search etc...
it says "windows explorer is not working,trying to fix the problem"
then it says "windows explorer is closing"
then it closes the screen
can anyone help me?

Did you change anything on the computer before this happened? Also, have you run an anti-virus scan?

no i have not ran a virus scan
but my windows defender is acting kindof wacky
i already used ccleaner and it did not work

vista lol thats what i get but with other things.

maybe its just vista and your system?
