Hello...

I've just put together a new computer consisting of the following hardware:

Motherboard - Asus P5K3 Deluxe Wifi Edition.

PSU - Hi-Power Black 700W 14cm Blue LED Fan PSU - 20+4pin, 4x SATA, 4x PCI-E

Graphics Card - Radeon X850 XT.

RAM - Corsair 2GB Kit (2x1GB) DDR3 1333MHz/PC3-10666 XMS3 Memory Non-ECC Unbuffered CL9(9-9-9-24) DHX Technology Heat Sink.

Processor - Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 3GHz Socket 775 4MB Cache 1333MHz FSB Retail Boxed Processor.

Problem:
When I press the Power-on button the computer starts for at least 1 second then the power turns off. The processor fan and graphics card do start. I don't usually post on forums like these I can usually, after hours of trying work problems out, but this time I just can't figure it out. Please somebody offer me some help. Thanks.

P.S

I've tried a bnech test, which was not effective - and I tried without the Processor, and that does work, the computer does power-up.

Have you pout standouts while installing the board in your case? If not, that causes a short, hence why it won't turn on.
