Hello, I have 2 questions regarding my new build,

1st. I have successfully managed to set up a raid 0 on my system using 2 out of 3 (WD640AAKS) HDD. I didn't install windows just et, but I will when I get home. I have “DFI LP UT P35” MOBO, before the raid when I would go to (Standard CMOS Features) in my bios it would show me all my IDE devices. 3 HDD, 2 CD-ROM's & 1 Floppy but now all of them are gone and all I see is just my floppy drive… My raid 0 was set up from 1 master HDD and 1 slave, does that make a difference? I also didn't install any of the raid controller, because like I sad I didn't install OS just et, but I don't think that should have an effect on the IDE devices….

2nd. Under the “Integrated peripherals” then “OnChip IDE Devices” section in my bios I had to change “Sata Mode” to RAID from IDE in order to set up my raid 0. Now that I have raid done, do I need to change it back to IDE? Or keep it at RAID? Maybe this is the cause for problem in question 1?

I tried my best to make this as clear as possible.

Thank u

In the BIOS in the OnBoard IDE device settings look for ...

Onboard JMB363 at the bottom. Is this set to RAID+IDE?
