I wanna make videos without a camera

Media Encoder 9 is a freebie from microsoft. It will do a far better job of doing just what you have in mind. You can record the screen and put your audio in at the same tim. You can see the raw input and watch the encoded output on two windows side by side. It has VU meters to monitor the audio.
You can set the output file to several formats and what compression to use.
And again, it's free...

link?

I am having problems with the following things. I record my audio (which is me speaking,) and the video. But I can't figure out how to make it so when the video plays I can hear my audio at the same time, as the video plays. I can't figure out how to trim the video and get rid of unwanted parts.
To import the audio file, click on "audio or music" under the import column. Then drag the file onto the timeline audio/music, you can slide the bar along and have the audio start at any time during the video. You can also shorten it too.
To trim a video file, drag it to the video timeline at the bottom, and adjust it as if you were adjusting an open window (your firefox window for exemple.)

I posted my video on you tube. It won't let me watch it. It says it needs to be exported to .WMV format. How do I do that? What is the best way to put music in my video? I was thinking about playing the radio while I also talk.

and windows movie maker. Does anyone got the answer to my post above.

If you check that attitude you'll get more help.

I'm not typing in a long winded answer to your question about why you can't watch your movie after uploading to Youtube. If you can't see it on their viewer you need to get flashplayer from adobe. That's fixes that.
If you downloaded it back from Youtube, you're in for a surprise. I'll let you read a couple of threads I made just because of that very issue.

This first one tell you what happens to your file after you youtube it. And some other assorted goodies.

"this file is a microsoft movie maker file. please return to your project and export your movie in .WMV format."
That's because you're saving it as a project, you need to click "Publish movie" which is along the top of the window and it will save as an .AVI file.

I looked around and I didn't see a publish movie option. Can you tell me where it is?
