Car Speakers Problem

ok heres the deal i have a 260 watt set of 3 way 6X9 speakers,

heres a pic

if you look closes you see the wires that go to the tweeter and mid well wen the bass speaker vibrates (to make sound) it rattles on that wire and sounds awful, what can i do ?

aw, the infamous rattling speaker coil... well you came to the right place, cause i had that problem before and here's what i did to fix it.

take a thin sponge that you use to wash dishes with, and tear a small piece off from the corner and wedge it up against the wires where they are viabrating.

just becaeful not to wedge it in too tight or else it will make the speaker sound like crap. that's it...

i have done this with speakers i pounded with my amp and it works..
