I need a new TV. . .

1080p

As always, price is a factor, but don't let it restrict you. If you suggest something expensive, tell me why I should pay the extra money.

Also, should I go LCD or plasma?

Plasma televisions have always produced a better image in my personal opinion, but LCD televisions are far more flexible when it comes to stress.

That television you listed seems fine.

Also Plasma's tend to malfunction more and be less reliable.
