graphics driver

I have a geforce 8400 gs and i try and install the driver and a message said driver not compatible

Have you downloaded the correct driver for your operating system?

yes i tryed and put correct info but i put in the software that came with graphics card

Try this, go into device manager, right click your video card, and select update driver. Point it to the folder containing the drivers you downloaded.
