Ok, so I was a retard today. Tired, wasn't paying attention and I pulled out my hdd slot and I left the sata wire connected. Well the wire go tight and ripped off the plastic part where the stata wire connects. Would it be possible to get this repaired?

Its a raptor 150gb and I don't want to just trash it.

Ths is the plastic part that snapped off so now its just exposing the prongs.

Thanks

Thats the only thing about the SATA interface/connectors. They're not as strong as the PATA connectors.

I reckon you can get that sorted but it might cost ya.

It can be fixed, but standard procedure is to buy an identical drive and swap the dead part out, which would cost as much as the new one.
