Help with install of OS

the bios is right, if it comes up and asks you to boot from cd and you try pressing the keys then maybe its your disk, maybe its not been burnt to cd correct? right? maybe its not the right download?

but i am more then sure its your disk

I've had this problem before. I automatically assume all computers have a DVD drive, apparently some don't, lol.
