it doesnt matter just usually color coded(put the two sticks in the same colors)...start from 1 to 2 to 3 etc... from the processor

The reason I say this is because my board utilises A2 & B2 for two sticks in dual channel as opposed to the normal A1 & B1 set up.

And if it doesnt work out, I don't think it will hurt you if you do it wrong, it just wont recognize your memory. I could be wrong.

It will recognize it, it just won't run in dual channel mode. It'll be a little slower, but no drastic changes.

Put the memory in the first green slot, and the first yellow slot for dual channel. I know, this is the only board I have seen where you can't go by color.
