surely it doesnt have to be a projector would it not work with a normal t.v.

it should do as the concept is only the wii remote thats changing he mentions no modifications to the projector,

can anyone from the u.k point out what hes talking about from maplins.

Edit, it works, i dont have it working properly but i have a proof of concept video jus getting it up now

video wont be up n e time soon, lost my power lead to finalize disk lol.

but it works, i did it with my remote control, (standard t.v) and off course the cursor was all over the place but proof of concept and its extremely easy, now im off to maplins to buy some proper kit

ssc I heard him say that the 4dots he squres out are the pixels guided onto the screen, so where ever you put the 4 dots in the pixel area it will display what ever you put

ok im at my sis house now, gotta watch my nepherw for a few mins.

i have bought all the stuff i need. jus gotta find a pen like enclosure that will house it all.

and then im off to play with it.

so with the 4 corners thing what your saying is i could point the 4 corners on a mouse mat ? and then it will assume the very bottom right corner of my mouse mat is the start menu ? jus a concept im working on.

think its def worth some +1 and i will be making vids as i go along

ssc, yes if you have the points in certain places well in between this radius will have your results, so its like a remote and your sky, well it has the box and on the box is the censor for the remote, well that has 4 dots right left bottom right bottom left and in the middle of that is all your PIXEL area, and in that area is what ever you point it to do.

video is jus on its way up, now i have to do alot of calibrating and find best position for wii mote and stuff but for my first attempt its good,

still need to encase the infa red emitter aswell and possibly buy a more powerful one, been looking through digital cam viewer and its not too great its only 2mm one maybe i should get a 5mm or something a bit more chunky,

there it is i know its not as acurate as id like it to be i know its not as responsive as id like it to be, but its great lol, im gonna work on a 1 fingered glove version.
