Just because I have an Intel processor doesn't mean I'd always choose them over AMD, plus my knowledge of computer hardware wasn't too great when I built my system.

You can't argue that if you want really a really good bang for your buck system, AMD is most likely the way to go. They just need to start competing performance-wise.
