need a camera

I am gonna be using these for fish photos an taking it to the beach this summer for surf fishing so water proof would be good cause i am butterfingered when it comes to expensive items.

i think these are good plus they can with stand my fat butt sitting on them or dropping them onto ground or into water

lol big boy. it did not matter till i found these ones. cause it will cool also when i work on hay i left my last film camera on our trailer and it had 2 haylage bales put on top of it and it broke. these might be able to withstand the pressure of my stupidty.

Trust me, you're not going to find a camera that can withstand that kind of pressure under 300 bucks.

Hehe, I'm also looking for a camera for reference/texture photo's for 3D work, and I think compacts won't have the power that I need, so I've been looking into getting a Super Zoom camera, capable of around 12-18x Optical Zooms
They have manual controls like an SLR, but don't overally complicate, and don't have changeable lenses.

Compacts fit in the pocket though...
