IDE (XP) + Sata Boot Problem

I had Installed a 400gb Sata on my Motherboard, then when I open my PC the Windows XP logo shows and after that it went Black (BLACK SCREEN). How do I make my XP works?. Because I think my PC is booting in my SATA Drive and not im my IDE Drive

thats because your bios is set to AHCI For harddrive

set it to Ahc.

Shit i cant remember the name but its in your bios and then you will need to reformatt again my friend

hehe np ^^, But what is an AHCI?. And If I install a XP in my SATA then it will boot up there and work 100% with my 200gb IDE (Master) with it?.

Ok I know what is a AHCI now, Should I just change it in the Bios Setting or do I need something like a Jumper?
