CS2 or CS3?

Has anyone used Photoshop CS3 yet? Im currently using CS2 and im wanting to know if its worth it to upgrade to CS3...

CS3 has much better performance, and is laid out very differently.

I personally use CS2, CS3 was too big of a change to move to.

I doownloaded it but it was too much for my laptop to handle so I uninstalled it.

I have CS2, tried a trial of CS3 on my laptop (see sig) but surprisingly it was slower loading then CS2. So I'm keeping CS2. Am I right in thinking that some features added in CS3 just automate what you can do in CS2 but takes more time? Does that make sense?

CS3 has a much different interface than CS2, although you can alter it a bit once you learn how to. Performance wise, it seems better than CS2, and if you have Vista, should fix some problems. If you are at all into 3D, than CS3 is a great way to start doing some advanced 2D/3D stuff. You can import 3D files into CS3, even rotate them around! All-in-all, it'd probably be a good upgrade.

i went right to cs3 never used photoshop that much but these days i am geting better and better
