The NV120 dethrones the TRUE .....

It's a bit of a trade off though, the 2700rpm to get the lower temps v the 43.1dBA at 1m is quite drastic and at the lower 1400rpm it barely exceeds or matches the TU120E at 1200rpm.

I would be interested to have a play with one none the less.

It's hard to compare the two heatsinks when the NV120's fan would be a custom job to replace. The only way you could really compare them is with the same fan strapped to them.

True that, always a problem with product comparisons especially as they don't state (that I could see) what fan is on the TU120E either.

I'm running at 3.5 now and I don't break 60C after 12 hours of prime.

Folding 24/7 doesn't get over 55C.
