cpu cooler

I'm looking for a decent cooler for my am 2 dual. I dont want something expensive and I'm looking for quite. like i have the stock cooler and it keeps mine cool but its drilling a hole in my head with the noise. its like a whining wirling noise in my ear and driving me crazy. like i dont even want to have my comp on its killing me.

any suggestions, preferably under $50

Don't know about noise at all, but Arctic Cooling makes good coolers and here's their AM2 version of their popular 775 one:

this is pure win. Cheap and VERY efficient. However make sure it fits into your computer before buying, it's not exactly the smallest possible cooler.

that's pretty much the same as the scythe infinity. I was actually going to get that ocz cooler too, but none were available when I placed my order, it would have taken about 3-5 weeks for them to get one so I got another cooler since I really didn't feel like waiting that long. So I ended up getting the nexus xir-2300.

It performs pretty well.
