Hey guys, i have been using this site for a while and thought, for those of you may be bored or are interested in something new, may just listen to some ATC, although you may think it sounds boring, its actually quite fun, well to me it is, im more of an aviation enthusiast.

iv used that site for ages, i listen 2 some of them wen im on flight sim, i also have a scanner, i dont live that far from manchester airport, UK.. was up there the other day watching them take off on runway 2, you can get quite close to them aswel

That is a nifty idea.

I have an avionics radio and a scanner, so I can pickup any of the local airports on them (And I have a license to use the avionics radio too)

Thats because you are listening to the inactive airports or ones where there is am small flight activity. Try listening to the major US airports such as KLAX, KSFO, KJFK, KBOS during peak hours especially in the morning hours.

thats pretty cool. I'm trying to learn to be able to understand what they are saying at that rate... they talk really fast.

used to get loads on the scanner but cant get anything other then atc now coz everything is digital


and some pics from there i go to when im at manchester airport, i should be going bk up there soon, only takes me about 30mins 2 get there, but coz theres a big hill and i live on the other side of it i cant get the tower or anything

Thats amazing mate, i live in sydney and the airport is quite a drive from my place, hope to go there soon, there's a spotters position right next to the beach.

Do u think, you can host some of the ATC conversations if you can, because at live atc you dont get to hear any of UK.
