Video controller drivers.

What are the issues or problems that can occur to one's computer when your video controller drivers are not installed?

I am not quite sure what you are asking. Are you having problems with your video controller, or are you just looking for problems that have happened. If you are having some problems just list them and we can help you with them.

I installed a windows xp professional os on above mentioned laptop, everything loaded except the video controller drivers (vga compatible) now I have a yellow icon for that hardware in device manager.

resolution will probably be real low, graphics will be low standard.

Pop over to the Toshiba site and grab the XP video driver for that model laptop.
