is this computer worth it? ADVICE NEEDED

Also can anyone find me a case that can support like atleast 6gb ram( i guess all 2gb sticks so 3x 2gb sticks, i wanna make sure like ill have enough room for it

If you want 6GB of RAM, you need to buy 2x2 and 2x1 or else the memory won't all run in dual channel. All motherboards will 4 DIMMs will support 6GB of RAM. Just make sure the case you buy is of ATX form factor, not uATX, in other words, you need a midi tower or bigger.

Post up what you've picked out so far and we'll help you with your selections. And more than 4GB of RAM isn't nessessary IMO.

why is anymore than 4gb worthless? I thought if you have 64bit vista ultimate it can work with up to 8gb great

Wow, it's amazing to see how HP hasn't changed the chassis on their desktop computers.

You will never actually use all that RAM, you'd be better off getting 2-4GB of DDR3.
can't seem to find a good ddr3 motherboard either
There are plenty of X38 mobos that support DDR3, like this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813186134 which is compatible with DDR2 and DDR3 (four DDR2 DIMMs and two DDR3 DIMMs) or this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813121090 which supports solely DDR3.
