their peak was defiantly on their black album. load and reload are pretty good, and garage inc isn't half bas as well. St. anger and kill 'em all just plain out sucked.... except for hit the lights. I love that song.

Metallica used to be my favourite band, I don't know about now but they're still my #1 influence when writing music when it comes to riffs and vocals. I only listen to their material from 1983-1991 and then I really don't like anything after that apart from a few of the covers from 1998's Garage Inc. So although I missed the 80s by being born in 1990 I love 80s Thrash Metal the most haha and it shows in the music I write.
