No, I don't think it is. You can buy an AM2/AM2+ (With the higher HT speeds, not just 2000MT/s) mobo and a decent 64 X2 for that money. I'll find some stuff:

So with almost the same money, you've got a mobo that will take full advantage of the Phenoms with HT 3.0 should you wish to upgrade and a faster CPU.

mongo, do you shop at tiger direct?, if you do, do you know f lke any processor +motherboard combos that are under 140, that are good?

The advantage with the kit I recommended is that it's much more upgradable being AM2+. For just an AM2 board, the first bundle you linked to is the best buy.
