Hehe, I wouldn't mind having a 20B in an RX-8.

Hell, I wouldn't mind putting a LS1 in an RX-7 either. Small block V8 with tons of power.

Haha, no. 300hp with 300 in torque? No, not on the straight aways, a viper would dominate that. A gt500 would dominate that too in the straights, with 500hp and 480 in torque, the 20b has nothing on it. The RX-8 is for cornering, not straights.

The GT500 is still a pig though. It weighs around 3800 pounds I think. Power/weight ratio matters more than you think. Power/weight ratio is what can make that little K20A Civic hatch on just intake and exhaust give lots of 300+ HP cars a run for their money.
