New to Computer Building

Also I most likely won't be overclocking the momery either because I'm new to all this and would rather just leave it be. So mostly looking for the most stable game-performance ram. From what I hear its between OCZ, Corsair, Crucial.

They basically test different types of memory by the maximum speeds they can reach whilst remaining stable. So the higher the memory can go, the better the used modules are. For exemple the Corsair XMS2 800MHz CAS 4 kit could reach 1100MHz, the Crucial Ballistix 800MHz CAS 4 kit could only reach 920MHz. So basically the Corsair kit is of higher quality.
EDIT: after reading your above post.
If same spec memory kits are all within $10 of each other, I would recommend the Corsair kit.

Alright so just look at all the DDR2 Dual channel 800MHz memory modules and compare prices? I'll tell ya what I come up with.

But Basically I want cas latency of 4 and timings of 4-4-4-12. right?

I came across these:

OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory

Corsair (XMS Series)
CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory

I might downgrade to one of these for Video cards because I heard the gt and gts are very similar products. I'm just not sure which to get though.

EVGA 512-P3-N801-AR GeForce 8800GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

EVGA 512-P3-N802-AR GeForce 8800GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

Any thoughts? They look so similar.

I personnally would recommend the Corsair kit, but that's just me. Crucial and OCZ are quality as well, so it's a personal preference really. As for 8800GTS vs 8800GT. If you can find an 8800GTS G92 close to $250 then I would get that, but if you're buying an 8800GT, be sure to get one with an improved cooler, such as the Gainward versions.
EDIT: This is brilliant for the price: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127323 Doesn't always have to be by EVGA you know. And if it's for the step-ip program, I'm 99% sure that is only valid for 90 days.

Do you think I'll have trouble with the 8800 gts video card on the motherboard. For instance: If the card goes directly over some Sata slots.
