I never said it was necessary, half the stuff people buy isnt necessary.......

I have a Thermaltake Saprano with a 120MM blowing over my drives. but i bought these coolers anyway and saw a 10 Degree Celsius drop on both of my drives.

I think thats great for $5, and possible longer drive life (and a cooler running system).....
