OK, I am so F***ing fed up with my laptop, After the sound screwed up, now it wont boot up. I have a dell latitude laptop running off windows 2000. I just bought it a year ago and cant afford another for a while. When I turn it on, it will act normal, saying and going through the processes and then after it says applying your personal settings, it wont go farther. the computer doesnt seem to see it isnt going all the way through, please help, thanksSO Pissed at my laptop

Dude, if I were you - I'd take it to whoever you bought it from.
If that doesn't work, maybe try reinstalling windows - if you don't have the disk, try Ubuntu.
It's Linux, and that means free!
Anyway, if you don't like Ubuntu, there's a whole slew of other open source OSs - go to this site for ideas - try the "Major Distributions" or "Search" options at the top.
