Firefox - Opera - IE7: all keep losing my bookmarks!

Just started yesterday, remembers all of my passwords though. Can't figure the damn thing out.

So, let me understand this all three web browsers aren't able to remember your bookmarks. Have you tried updating them?

They are all updated/just installed.

Initially the problem was with opera, so i said f it and installed ff yesterday. everything was fine until this evening, i opened up ff and my homepage was reset to Mozilla default and all of my bookmarks were gone.

That's where I would start, along with a spyware scan. Unless your hard drive is dying rapidly, I'm willing to bet it's something malicious.

actually, IE is fine. I never imported my bookmarks

Weird. I thought maybe it had something to do with the private data, but there are no options to clear bookmarks.
