I'm not getting antsy at all.

1280x800 is a dismal resolution for a 15 inch notebook.

I see your point, but I don't think it would be such a big problem. While 1440 x 900 (Correct me if i'm wrong on that) would be a much better choice, he doesn't seem to need that high of a resolution, even with photoshop usage. Logo creation and image editing aren't every difficult without a huge resolution.

At the end, it'll just come down to his preference. Maybe visiting a local shop to just see and feel the laptops could also work.

I think 1440x900 is the absolute minimum for a 15 inch notebook. If you're looking for a screen that's 1280x800, you should definitly look into a 13.3 inch notebook instead.
