Best Graphics Card for $100?

8X is bandith transfers. Okay, PCI-E has bigger bandwith, but what's the point when AGP has still room to grow?

Oh nice. 8600 with passive cooling. Last time I looked at prices, the 7600GT was the best deal.

It's true that the performance difference between the 7600GT and the 8600GT is almost unnoticable. Although the 8600GT has DX10 support.

Yep it does, all in all its becoming a very weak card in todays market with the 8800 GS dropping to $120 (MIR)

What manufacturers don't understand is that AGP is not even close to be bottlenecking. It's not even reaching it's full potential.

Not manufacturers. People. PCI-e x16 is long from dead, FAR from bottlenecking, but, people LOVE to blow their money and gorge the manufacturers with it on things they don't even need, just to give them a false sense that PCI-e 2.0 for example is a ton better than x16 even though x16 isn't close to bottlenecking yet.
