Good Buy?

It's an XFX 8800gt XXX 670mhx with and ANTEC Trio 650W, for 299, but 259 after rebate. (CDN dollars).

Well our dollar is like half a cent above the american dollar, so basically the same price as it would be in america.

Currency as of today is $1 US dollar = .9857 cents Canadian. Actually a few months ago the Canadian dollar was equal to the US dollar. So currently $20 US is $19.71 Canadian.

The American dollar is becoming worth less and less these days.

I am also thinking of buying different ram, currently I have 2 gigs of 667mhz ram. Would I get better performance if I had 4 gigs of 667mhx ram or if I had 2 gigs of 800mhz ram. I don't want to buy 4 new gigs of ram.

I think getting two more sticks of 667 would definitely outperform 800mhz. The speed difference wouldn't make too much of a difference, but having 50% more RAM would.

It really depends on your OS(x32 or x64) and your current FSB.

I would error on the side of 2 more sticks of 667
